An extremely sad incident here in Straya over the weekend. Story short, a schizophrenic man on a stabbing rampage in a shopping centre killing 6 innocent people. After seeing the footage, the family and I were having a discussion on what we would have done in a similar scenario. All of them said run like everyone else and good on them. I would have pumped out some fully sic moves from seipai then reached for the broom stick to bust some kobudo kata winning techniques and blasted the guy NOT. Reality check: No amount of training will ever prepare you for someone sneakily stabbing you in the back. No karate words of wisdom here, simply stay safe and appreciate the ones most important to you in life.
