The 25th of this month (October) brings us to another year of "Karate Day", an annual event held in Okinawa. It is a day when 'karate enthusiasts respect their predecessors, who created and developed karate, reaffirm shurei-no kokoro (the spirit of courtesy) as a core tenet of karate, and perform a dedicatory demonstration at Shurei Hall (a special dojo) of the Okinawa Karate Kaikan to inform the world of Karate Day and of Okinawa as the place of origin of karate' (https://www.visitokinawa.jp/events/karate-day).
