For the past several months, the Coronavirus has wreaked mayhem across the globe and resulted in the closure of business' of all kinds (martial arts clubs included). You are all probably sick and tired of hearing or reading on the news about this topic; however, the end does not seem to be in sight. Having said that, a positive outlook needs to be taken. More quality time can be spent with family, self-reflection on life priorities, and most importantly according to all the karate nutcases out there, extra opportunities can be spent on one's own training. Not always will you have your sensei to guide or spoon-feed you all the information or answers you may have questions to. Now is the time for you to find those for yourself and even question what you are actually doing. Then again, with all the technology that exists in this day and age, asking your sensei for assistance may simply be a Zoom video call away. In a nutshell, continue your training whatever method it may be!
