Often people, in particular parents ask the question of when the best time to commence karate is. Age is never the issue, the willingness and motivation to learn are. Can you imagine a fit and healthy teenager who was forced to learn because of their parents? Nope, this simply wouldn't work.
Today a 4 year old keen as mustard stepped foot onto the dojo for the first time. His mother explained that he had been pestering her for quite some time about wanting to learn..... So what triggered his desire and curiosity for karate? His beloved Ninja Turtles and Kung Fu Panda of course! :)
We usually don't accept kids of this age, but the love he already has for training can be seen and felt. It is this passion that also drives us as instructors to try to bring the best out of each student. Stick to it little man, the journey's just begun.
